Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where do you hold your training sessions?
The sessions are held at Kitridding Farm Shop and Café situated between Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale. There, we are able to train in 'real life' situations, giving your dogs the life skills they require. For clients further a field we also have training grounds in Lancashire and Cheshire. Having a number of grounds also gives us the benefit to put your newly learnt skills to the test elsewhere, which will give you the confidence all your hard work is paying off.
  • What do I need to bring to my training session?
Bring treats! Lots of high value treats such as chicken, beef, cheese, hot dog. Something special that will get your dog to put in that bit more effort! Bring some toys for your dog. Small toys that can be used as a reward and some larger toys that can be used as a retrieve article! Poo bags.. because y'know.... Collar and lead (not a slip lead, unless instructed otherwise!) Clicker, if you use one Whistle if you use one
  • What can I expect from my session?
Expect to be bombarded with information! I love looking into why your dog is doing what its doing, and looking at the cause of the behaviour, rather than just the behaviour itself. Also, expect to have fun! If you're enjoying your training, so will your dog. And we want our training to be a great time for everyone involved!
